Self Defense And Fast Escape (S.A.F.E.) uses simple, effective, easy to learn techniques from the Haganah system. It has a variety of specialty focuses for different populations who have unique self defense requirements - women, teenage girls, even executives who travel. It enables you to quickly stop the most common attacks and quickly create an opportunity to escape from an attacker. S.A.F.E. does not rely on strength or size - it relies on knowledge. It teaches you to overwhelm, not overpower, your attacker.

The Self-Defense And Fast Escape (S.A.F.E.) Women's Specialty Program enables women to quickly stop the most common attacks and create an opportunity to escape from an attacker. S.A.F.E. does not rely on strength or size - it relies on knowledge. It teaches you to overwhelm, not overpower, your attacker.

You will become stronger, more confident and you will develop your reflexes to respond to an attack with simple maneuvers that are based on your natural instincts. You will learn how to increase awareness, to avoid danger and, if attacked, how to act decisively to end the attack immediately and get away.
Self Defense for women

S.A.F.E. features include defenses and counters against common attacks towards women including:

* Chokes
* Slaps
* Headlocks
* Grabs (including hair grabs)
* Bear hugs
* Knife threats
* Positions on the Ground (Common Rape Attempts)

Each class begins with a sufficient warm-up period to avoid injury, provides continuous dialogue to explain the purpose of each move, encourages questions and brings as much realism to the classroom as possible to encourage each participant to use their power. You're not alone.

Every class you will have a training partner. She is taking S.A.F.E. for the same reasons you are. It helps to work with another woman. Class size is limited to ensure one-on-one attention from an instructor. And during reality drills, we have male instructors and assistants to use as "dummies" to train with. This is a critical component of your training, teaching you to adjust to and not be frozen by the reality of an assault.
It's Fast - It's Complete

S.A.F.E. is designed to help you get capable in just 3 months - twice a week. It's not going to take years of training. Also, S.A.F.E. is a complete program. It not only prepares you physically but mentally as well. A real attack is terrifying. Most people's first reaction is shock followed by an ineffective response. How long that shock lasts and what you do afterward can make the difference in the outcome. Your training is designed to de-sensitize you mentally and physically and reduce the initial shock that occurs when you are unexpectedly attacked. This gives you an opening to react faster. Your tactics training "programs" you to then react effectively. This gives you the opportunity to escape.
